Chi Nei Tsang

Chi Nei Tsang is an ancient Taoist form of gentle massage therapy for the internal organs. It is a comprehensive approach to healing which empowers individuals to care for themselves in an informed way. The first principle of healing in Chi Nei Tsang is to breath deeply. Breath is considered pure life force and activates the exchange of old, stale energy and toxins for fresh clean nourishing energy which revitalizes the whole system. Chi Nei Tsang creates the opportunity to explore the deepest and most sensitive area, the belly and allows contact with the emotions held there. Chi Nei Tsang is also a powerful balancing, detoxifying and strengthening tool for the whole body.

Chi Nei Tsang Treatments

Treatment sessions involve massaging the internal organs and doing deep breathing practices, as well as learning self-massage and other self-care techniques like chi kung and mediation. Treatments are done fully clothed wearing something loose and comfortable.

“Breath is the bridge between all levels of awareness: mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual.”
-Gilles Marin, Director of the Chi Nei Tsang Institute
